MBCF Amino Acid Analysis:
Amino Acid Analysis is a service that provided the researcher a quantative list of amino acids from their purifed protein or peptide sample.
Generally the sample is supplied in a non-amine containing buffer, and is then hydrolyzed in 6N HCl. The hyrdolyzed mixture of amino acids is then derivatized with a fluorescent tag and seperated on an HPLC. The result is a amino acids and their amounts that can be used for accurate quantitation in difficult to analyze samples. Please call for more info.
